When a Project Becomes Everyday Practice
The Smart Grid LAB, which grew out of the Smart Grid LAB Hessen project, continues to evolve: As part of the current SGLive project, renovations and expansions are being carried out in the lab.
And “hands-on” is taken quite literally here:
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ingo Jeromin rolls up his sleeves and gets hands-on with the wiring in the lab.
It is precisely this combination of scientific work, technical implementation, and personal commitment that makes the Smart Grid LAB special. After all, modern low-voltage grids, digitalization, and smart grid management cannot be developed solely on paper—they must also be built, tested, and understood.
With the renovations carried out as part of SGLive, the lab is being further developed, thereby laying the foundation for establishing, testing, and refining new approaches to grid operation under realistic conditions.
Many thanks to the entire team for their personal dedication and active support!
